Visualize a positive result. Imagine in your head what will happen as a result of your phone conversation and make it positive. Visualize the person saying yes to joining your business, or yes to a fundraiser etc.
Practice your conversation with someone else.
If you are new in business, this can be extremely helpful to calm your nerves and help you realize that you are more capable than you realize.
Relax and take a deep breath.
Speaking on the phone really can be easy and does not need to be perfect or stressful.
Realize that practice makes perfect.
The more you speak with others on the phone about your network marketing business, the better you will become at it.
Say out loud to yourself, “I am a master telephone communicator.” This positive reinforcement can help you to realize your potential.
Start with the easiest phone calls.
Warm up by first calling those who for some reason may be easier to call. For example, someone who has emailed you and asked you to call them.
Realize that it is much more difficult to recognize nervousness on the phone than it is in person.
Even if you are nervous and feel like you are shaking, this will not be visible on the phone. Focus on speaking clearly and distinctly and on listening to the other person and you will be successful.
Just do it. This may sound simple, but the reality is that making phone calls will not get easier by just sitting around and thinking about it.
Give yourself a small reward after making a certain number of calls. Decide how many calls you need to make and choose a small reward such as a bowl of ice cream or a chocolate bar and give yourself the item after you make the calls.

Are they looking for something other than money? Although money is an important part of any network marketing business it is crucial to have other reasons for doing the business as well. What will the money do for you?
Remember that you are not desperate. You will find the right people if you keep going long enough.

You aren’t working the business.
This may seem obvious but far too many people do not do the work it takes to be successful and then they wonder why their business isn’t growing.
You are wasting time on non-productive activities.
Spending hours and hours in social networking communities, preparing the perfect flyer or handout, practicing speaking with people, debating over what products to purchase, and other activities can slow down your growth. All of these items are necessary to a degree but know when you have spent enough time on them and when you need to work on other more productive activities.
You aren’t talking with enough people every day.
How many people are you speaking with on a daily basis? Speaking with only 2 or 3 is not enough. You need to set a goal to speak with at least 15 people per day.
You have an attitude problem.
Do you truly expect success with your network marketing business? Do you really believe in yourself and in your ability to succeed?
You haven’t given your business enough time.
People who grow large organizations and really experience major success have almost without exception been working on their business consistently for at least 2 years.
You are in the wrong company.
Although this is probably the least likely reason, if you aren’t passionate about your products and about the company and the people you work with or you are not selling a product you would buy even if you weren’t selling it, then chances are that you should consider switching companies.
You are expecting too much or too little.
How much growth are you expecting? You need to be realistic but at the same time be positive and expect business growth and it will show up.
You need to increase your networking.
How many people know you? And how many people do you know? If your numbers are small, you may need to join a networking group to meet more people.
You need to develop your leadership skills.
Leaders are made not born but everyone can become a leader who wants to. Read some John Maxwell books and get busy developing as a leader.
You need to introduce more people to the products.
How many people have you asked to try your product in the past few days? The more people you offer them to, the more you will sell.

Social networking is the new craze and it is also a great way to meet new people and to get your network marketing business in front of an audience who may not find you otherwise. Offer something of value to those you meet and watch your business grow.
5- Start blogging
Having a blog is now at least as important if not more important than having a website. The search engines love blogs and they are an excellent method of communicating your thoughts as well as sharing valuable information with current and potential business partners and customers.

1. Just like Wilbur and Mister Ed have a friendship and a great relationship, you must learn to have a great relationship with your prospects and team members. Learn to communicate effectively with them and your network marketing business will explode.
2. Just like Mister Ed causes Wilbur some embarrassment and funny situations at times, network marketing will make this happen with you too, sometimes, learn to embrace this and take advantage of it.
3. Learn to have fun and play with your network marketing business. Mister Ed does not know what is normal, or accepted in society. As a result, he has a lot of fun. Learn to have fun in your network marketing business too.
4. Dream big and have big ideas. In many of the episodes Mister Ed does things that everyone knows horses do not do. He drives a car, goes in a space ship, and visits a gypsy. What can you do that no one else thinks you can do or that you will do with your network marketing business?
5. Get rid of your limitations. This goes along with number 4. If you truly believe that an idea will work and help grow your business chances are good that it will. Mister Ed tries to win contests, writes letters to Dear Abby and other things that we all know usually do not get results, but he believes they will work and they do.
